I was the 1997 New York State recipient of the James Madison fellowship award. I studied at Georgetown and Columbia with this grant, and I still am an active member of this organization. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University GSAS. For the past 15 years I have taught and tutored all Social Studies classes, especially AP World, AP US History and AP European History, and many of my students have attended Ivy League schools. I currently specialize in teaching College Writing/AP Research courses and interact with College and High School instructors through message boards and conferences. I won the Baldwin PTA Founders Award for distinguished teaching in 2018. I was named distinguished educator by the Harvard Club of Long Island three times (2010, 2013, 2017).
